Community partners

Stand with those who served.

Operation Whole Health connects veterans, service members, military families and first responders with local organizations that offer them a free first step, such as a visit, a class or a conversation at no cost. If your organization wants to be one of those open doors, start here.

Meet people where they are

We meet veterans, service members, military families and first responders at community events, through our programs and online. As a partner, you give them a clear next step.

Clear, published standards

Every new partner agrees to the same written standards, listed below. We publish them so anyone can read them, including the people you'll serve.

Built with you

We write your partner page in plain language and send it to you to review, so you always know exactly what we'll say about you.

Free and simple

No fee, no exclusivity. You stay fully independent, and you can step away at any time.

What partnering looks like

Simple, honest, and built around veterans.

What partners get

  • A partner page on operationwholehealth.org that tells your story and features your free first step
  • A simple signup form on your page. When someone signs up and agrees to share their details, we email the request straight to you.
  • A place on our Partners page alongside other organizations serving the military and first-responder community
  • When we take part in community events together, event materials such as a table flyer and a QR code with your logo
  • A listing we keep accurate with you. We'll ask you to confirm your details from time to time.
  • We can't promise a number of signups or referrals, but we'll put your free first step in front of the people we serve.

Our partner standards

  • A truly free first step. No purchase, no pressure, and within the health-care laws on offers to Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE beneficiaries.
  • Plain words, no promises. No promised results, success rates or suicide-prevention claims.
  • Licensed and insured. Licensed wherever a license applies, and insured for hands-on services.
  • Safety and scope. Stay within your training, use only VA-accredited help for VA claims, and connect anyone in crisis to 988, then press 1.
  • Respect and privacy. Contact every signup on time, and never sell or share their information.
  • Fair to everyone. Serve people without discrimination, welcome service animals and never require religious activity.
  • Honest, separate and nonpartisan. Keep your details current, use OWH's name only as approved, and know that either of us may end the partnership at any time.

  1. A truly free first step. You offer a visit, assessment, class or conversation with no purchase required and no pressure. If you bill Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE or VA Community Care, your offer follows the health-care laws on free items and services for those beneficiaries.
  2. Plain words, no promises. No promised results, no cure or success rates, no outcome statistics and no suicide-prevention claims. Licensed providers describe only the services and FDA-cleared uses they're licensed to provide, exactly as cleared. Products such as supplements are described in structure/function terms only.
  3. Licensed and insured. You're licensed wherever a license applies. If you provide in-person or hands-on services, you carry general liability insurance, and licensed providers also carry professional liability insurance.
  4. Safety and scope. You offer only what you're trained, licensed and insured to do, and refer people elsewhere when their needs go beyond it. Only VA-accredited people help with VA claims, and no one is charged to file an initial claim. Anyone in crisis is connected to the Veterans Crisis Line (dial 988, then press 1) or 911.
  5. Respect and privacy. You contact every signup within the time you chose and treat each person with dignity, whether or not they become a client. You use their information only to contact them about your offer, and you never sell it, share it or add it to a marketing list without their permission.
  6. Fair to everyone. You serve people without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or military discharge status, except where a service's own legal eligibility rules apply. You welcome service animals as the law requires, and no one has to take part in religious activity to receive your free offer.
  7. Honest, separate and nonpartisan. You keep what you tell us accurate and current, including any ties to OWH. OWH doesn't certify, endorse or accredit any partner, and neither of us is the other's agent, employee or joint venturer, or speaks for the other. You keep the partnership free of political campaign activity, use OWH's name and logo only as approved, and either of us can end the partnership at any time.

Questions

Good to know.

Does it cost anything?

No. There's no fee to become a community partner. OWH never pays or accepts anything of value for a listing, a placement or a referral.

Do we need to be a nonprofit?

No. We welcome nonprofits, local businesses and licensed health practices. We review every request on the same criteria: whether you serve this community well and can meet our partner standards.

Does being a partner mean OWH endorses us?

No. Operation Whole Health doesn't certify, endorse, accredit or guarantee any partner, and our site says so plainly. A listing means you've agreed to our standards and want to serve this community. Each person decides for themselves whether to use your services.

What kind of free first step do partners offer?

Whatever fits your work, such as a first visit, an assessment, a class or a consultation. It must be truly free, with no purchase required. You set the limits, and we list them exactly as you give them to us. If you bill Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE or VA Community Care, your offer also has to follow the health-care laws on free items and services for those beneficiaries. That part is yours to confirm, and we encourage licensed practices to check with their own counsel.

Who sees the signups from our page?

When someone signs up on your page and agrees to share their details with you, we email the request to you and copy Michael so no one falls through the cracks. OWH keeps a record of each signup and doesn't use it for anything else without the person's permission. As a partner, you agree to use it only to contact that person about your offer.

If we donate to OWH, does that affect our listing?

No. Giving to OWH never affects whether or how a partner is listed, and a partner page is never a thank-you for a gift. If a community partner is also a corporate supporter, we say so on both listings. Corporate support is a separate path, recognized by name and logo only. If your company would like to give, please reach out through our contact page.

Can we end the partnership?

Yes, at any time and for any reason. Just let us know, and we'll take your partner and event pages down within 5 business days. Printed flyers already handed out can't be recalled, but their QR codes point to pages we control, so they'll stop leading to your page. OWH can also pause or end a listing at any time.

Ready when you are

The people we serve showed up for the rest of us. This is a simple way to show up for them. We'd be honored to hear from you.

Operation Whole Health is a Nevada 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-4602379) that provides wellness education, not medical care. We do not certify, endorse, accredit or guarantee any partner, provider, product or service, and being listed is not an endorsement. Community partners run their own organizations, and each person chooses for themselves. OWH doesn't supervise, inspect or monitor partners, and we don't guarantee their services. Please check any provider's license with the state board. If you have a concern about a partner, tell us at michael@operationwholehealth.org and we may pause or end the listing. In an emergency, call 911. In crisis? Call 988, then press 1, or text 838255.
